What is Elev8 Projects?
Projects are designed to conquer challenges identified during adolescence. These include leadership, self-confidence, dealing with pressure, employability skills and crime prevention, using a medium of wellbeing. This means that we drive home an understanding of transferable concepts and skills, in a simple and easy way.
‘Jamayne’ “As a former resident rep of St Basils I know the trials and tribulations of such experiences, which is the reason we have now reconnected with St Basils and partners for all residents to benefit. Using my understanding to amplify outcomess, enabling each candidate to unlock their true potential.”
We aim to aid direction and passion to those who are struggling to find their path, TOGETHERNESS IS ONENESS AND IT’S JUST THAT SIMPLE!
Those who suffer from child poverty and youth unemployment are our key focus group;
- Children from poorer backgrounds lag at all stages of education.
- By the age of three, poorer children are estimated to be, on average, nine months behind children from more wealthy backgrounds.
- According to Department for Education statistics, by the end of primary school, pupils receiving free school meals are estimated to be almost three terms behind their more affluent peers.
- By 14, this gap grows to over five terms.
- By 16, children receiving free school meals achieve 1.7 grades lower at GCSE

The ‘Elev8 Projects’ confronts you with character building challenges, opportunities of progression and understanding, social recreation and purpose. The Project allow you to get stuck with our local community, tackling things like the self-esteem, confidence as well as mental and physical blocks.
‘Elev8 Sports’ is a community project designed to allow young people to express them self in a fun and creative way. Elev8 Sports has four main activities, football, basketball, rowing and athletics. The project will contribute to the development of relationships between young people and local sports coaches, building friendships and overall expanding social skills and confidence. The benefits of such are simple but highly effective as results like this are life changing. Regular physical activity can reduce the risk of many chronic conditions, including coronary heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, cancer, obesity, mental health problems and musculoskeletal conditions. Elev8 Sports will run physical activity session three times a week and eventually develop into a sports academy allowing young people to gain field knowledge and training. More often than not when we work as a team, there always seems to be that one person working that titchy bit harder. Now here at Elev8 we have a saying ‘We’re all independent leaders’, not for a second dose that mean get given a task and all try and take charge. It’s a simple case of understanding that the big picture is made up of a lot of small inner workings.
What football team do you support?
Who is the leader?
Would you say it was the manager, captain, coach or referee?
- Dose the left defender not lead defence on the left
- Is the goal keeper not the leader of goal defence
- Are the commentators not the leaders of live evaluation
- How many snowflakes make a snow ball?
We can go on for ever, my point is we all have a role to lead….
Man Up Program
This spring the Elev8 project brings you ‘The Man Up Program’. Much like the Duke Of Edinburgh (D.O.E.A) with a twist. The program is a strict excursion designed to elevate the mental wellbeing and self-confidence of young people before and after their exams.
This program will enable them to unlock their inner self, behind any stresses, self-doubt or worry and tap into courage and determination. Refusing to be overcome by any hurdle nor give up when it gets hard.
Our carefully crafted projects and regimes have a science we call ‘The Ripple Effect’ and that is simply recognises that the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing are the same thing so one will always affect the other. We recognise this and take this action to contact schools based on our Ofsted research aimed at elevating the ‘so called’ hard to reach.
Knowledge and experience come together to create wisdom, so weather or not you make a mistake or do something wrong, what you take forward is wisdom.
Sometimes we have motivational speakers come and talk about their experiences, weather there good or bad that’s second hand knowledge for you guys to embrace because when opportunity comes knocking if you don’t know what to do with it, you’ll surely miss out.
We vowel ‘Young People Matter’, so that means each person beginning their journey is treated as an individual.
Shaping Minds And Changing Lives.
